Job requirements
Your tasks/your mission:
Manage and operate current accounting operations for a defined set of Group Companies located in France under local GAAP (Code de Commerce FR) and IFRS including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables, Bank Accounting, Tax Accounting & Payroll
Preparation and processing of payment runs for incoming invoices and salaries; processing and posting of Bank Statements; creation of customer direct debits and dunning notices
Reports and payments for social security (sociales associées DSN, absences, maladie)
Monthly review and reconciliation of G/L accounts and preparation of monthly financial statements as well as relevant internal monthly regular reports; as far as needed also additional analyses and reports
Preparation and transmission of tax returns (IS, TVA etc.)
Cooperation and exchange with authorities and other institutions in connection with local tax and accounting issues and matters as well as issues relating to relevant social security topics
Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with local law and in coordination with the local auditors (Commissaire aux Comptes) and with local tax consultant
Supporting preparation of annual financial statements according to IFRS in coordination and cooperation with the HQ Finance Team
First internal and external contact person for accounting issues related to the companies in the area of responsibility and content-related exchange with the HQ Finance Team
Time capacities: 35-40 working hours/week.
Your skills:
Commercial training and education, ideally in the field of bookkeeping and/or accounting
very good knowledge of local law (Code de Commerce FR), basic knowledge of French corporate tax law, basic knowledge of IFRS desirable
Experience in accounting and reporting (at least 5 years)
very good knowledge of French and English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and experience with accounting software
technical adeptness in the use of digital platforms and solutions
communicative, able to work independently and willing to take on responsibility
